MS Construction and Projects, trading as MSC Agriculture, is a youth-owned, black-owned private company based in Poelong Village in the eastern Free State (QwaQwa). Founded in 2019 by two university students, the company is proud to hold a Level 1 BBB-EE status, reflecting its commitment to empowerment and inclusivity.
The company was established with the goal of contributing to the local food security of the region, leveraging technical skills gained from university education, and creating sustainable employment opportunities for the rural community. MSC Agriculture is a mixed farming business involved in agricultural production, the construction of agricultural structures, vegetable farming, and agro-processing.

The company was founded by two university students, as we started the business while still in university
We are an accredited training service provider with AgriSETA, authorized to offer specialized training courses as National Certificate: Fruit Packing and Grading Processes, National Certificate: Mixed Farming System, National Certificate: Plant Production.We have partnered with the Free State Community Education and Training to deliver informal training programs. Moreover, through our collaboration with the African Conservation Trust, an IDC Strategic Partner, under the Social Employment Fund program for SMME development, we have successfully created 102 jobs in the Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality in the Free State.

Agricultural Production
We specialize in cultivating various vegetables and crops using sustainable farming methods. Our focus is on producing high-quality and nutritious crops to meet the needs of our community and contribute to local food security.
Agro-Processing
We add value to our raw agricultural products by transforming them into a range of processed goods, including vegetable juices and packaged produce. These products are sold both locally and regionally.
Construction of Agricultural Structures
We design and construct essential agricultural infrastructure, such as greenhouses, irrigation systems, and storage facilities, to help local farmers improve productivity and sustainability.
Live stock Production
We specialize in selling fresh eggs and raising healthy, chicken layers, ensuring the highest quality for our customers. In addition to poultry, we also focus on piggery, providing well-cared-for pigs that are raised in a humane and sustainable environment.
Retail & Local Sales
Through our retail outlet, Hunger Beaters, we sell fresh produce and agro-processed goods. We also distribute to other local businesses, street vendors, and residents, ensuring access to fresh food and supporting the local economy.
Job Creation and Skills Development
